Broken
This is not about pity, nor about detaining.
This is not about crying, for it would never do a thing.
This is about something worse, something too broken to be pain.
I could never find the words to speak, but writing seems okay.
Years have come and gone, but it never goes away.
Seeing your face inside my head, it seems like yesterday.
Hearing your name makes me freeze, so that I do not crack.
Shedding tears would only bring, years of memories back.
I hide my emotions so that no one else, has to feel what I feel inside.
This is not about pity, nor about detaining.
This is not about crying, for it would never do a thing.
This is about something far too broken, to ever be considered pain.
