I tore out the pages,
I burned the evidence,
And I threw the ashes into the sky,
To fly away in the wind.

But the memories are still there.
Taunting, torturing, and filling me.
I can’t erase those,
I can’t escape them.
I can’t escape you.
No matter how much you want to forget,
Memories are forever.
