Seeing everyone with their loved ones
making me feel left out
tears rushing down my face like rain rushing down the window
I just wanna run from my fears and problems
Trying to erase all the memories from what I once had
needing friends more then ever
trying to find a soul mate to help me feel better
Always having a close friend near is a good idea
But now the friend is gone so I feel empty
running into my ex brings back the good memories
trying to find things to get my mind off the break up but some things make it worse
First year we were officially dating
people questioned us and tried to make us a better couple then we were

i was working in hw hour at my school thinking about my ex bf and me. working on this made me sad when my friends and teachers read it they told me it almost made them cry

There's definitely a prominent overtone established here, and I like the simplicity of the imagery and verses, but I think you could have structured this in such a way that could have driven the emotion home more. That's not to say it isn't a good piece, because it is, I enjoyed reading it. I just feel like there's some untold story waiting to be unraveled deep within this, and that it can be elaborated on. But what do I know, right? :P
