My life hasn’t changed only become strange
I made myself a beast incapable of being tamed
I love what I’ve gained, yet I disdain all the pain
I can’t complain, I grew the lion’s mane, now death’s always in range
Death isn’t my worry; it’s my vision that became blurry
Before I fought in the light wanting a win, now I fight in the dark wanting an end
