Invisible to HIM
Dear Him,

 I see you
 everyday as you walk by
 And I hear you
 as you speak over me
 And I am lost
when your eyes look though me
 towards those behind me

 I don't think you know
 My dear Him
 how I have guarded you
 never said I hated you
 like all the rest

And I don't think you know
 how I have helped you
been ready to tell you the answer
 or bring you one

 Dear Him,
 You haven't noticed
 Have you
 ?
 the way me lips twitch
 wanting to thank you
 for being kind
 to my friends
 that you can see
 but not me
 Dear Him

 Him
I am I really such shadow and air
 I open my lips
 a slur comes out
 and you look at me
 then past me again

 Dear Him
 Even if I remain
 invisible
 unsightly
 I will be there
 silently helping
 and guiding too
