Broken
Shattered into a million jagged pieces
Cutting slices in my battered heart
Bleeding and shaking...
Shivering and cold...
But still I bend down
On my hands and groaning knees
To pick up the pieces
And sweep them under the rug
Adding to the collection
That no one can see...
