We're going to need a bigger boat

I get lost in his eyes
Deep, green-blue like the sea
Strong, beautiful, and wise
They see right through me

I get lost in his smile
so bright and fun
I want to stay in this moment a while
Before we both run

I get lost in his arms
Big, strong, and safe
When he hugs me I feel all warm
In his rippling, changing arms alike to the sea

I get lost in his voice
sending me love with every word
So sweet I can't hold my poise
My heart soars like a bird

I get lost in him
so gentle, yet safe and strong
With the sun's light growing dim
By his side is where I belong

I get lost in my love
and all his qualities above

This is for the friend who told me that my poetry did not have enough depth, thanks BP:)

Yes!! This is EXACTLY what I was talking about!! Haha thanks for including me in the comment... And I totally know what you mean, when you told me it is hard to rhyme and have depth in a poem. But this is well written, and I could definately sense the emotions in this piece. Great descriptions. Is this a rewrite of an earlier poem? It sounds familiar...
