Fungi Fright
Fungi Fright
Every year we go hunting for mushrooms
Deep in the forest we travel to find
Fungus hidden like a hair on a broom a thought never though before came to mind
A thought of vicious snakes observing me
Scared, frightened, I looked around uneasily,
There it was, an mber eyed black serpent
Petrified I ran screaming to the car
The only place I could refuge safely
My escape was was futile did not lead far
A new phobia began painfully
I heard, felt and saw snakes at night from that day on
Luckily I’m better phobia gone.
