Scared. Just Scared.
I sat there
Just sat
With my knees to my chest
Feeling scared
Oh so scared
As I listened to what he had to say
About me
And how I feel
Was it true?
Was it me?
Suddenly, I felt the danger
Of a terrifying stranger
What did he want from me?
Was he being helpful
Or just trying to destroy me?
I didn’t know, and that made me all the more
Scared
But from him,
One thing I learned
Never
Let
Someone
Tell
You
Who
You
Are.
