Forgetting Yesterday
And we'll breath underwater,
because that's the only air we can find,
we are crushed,
caught in between her world and mine.
Escape! Escape!
But which way should we go?
Her heart and soul are dark,
while my soft heart beats slowly.
She'd burn it from my chest.
Let's love, Let's laugh,
while she writes her name on every wall
and i'll look out my window through shadowed eyes,
hungry, greedy eyes,
and I'll try to forget that tiny, gentle girl inside.
