The Play
What a pair we were
 When we were both pro
 And antagonists
 To each other
 We advanced our story
 And created conflict
And then you wrote me out
 Of it all
 Still in the editing process
 But it's alright
 I can still write
 About you
 And you
 Can still be the heroin
 e
 In my tragedy
 On this stage I set
 For an audience of few
With an ending everyone saw coming
But is still a total shock
 It's an ending
 Shakespeare would've laughed at
A comedy in its own right
I was never much of an actor
 And you?
You never even wanted the part.
