Kiss (Sword & Pen)
you grappled words
from goosebumped skin
before I even spoke;
with no regard of where they fell,
my letters trapped under your foot-
you keep, you hoard, award yourself
this little victory
to touch my lips
and seal my skin
to take the words
and innocence
but my loyalty’s written in Pen,
and Sword, I choose words over men.
