Fear for the New Year
World, I see nothing in you but destruction,
I see a World of war, in desperate need of function.
Your people are full of greed
not knowing what they actually need.
Your people give me pain but no pleasure,
they need to understand what they hold is a treasure.
Your people give me great fear,
in becoming what they call a New Year.
No longer will I serve you World, no longer will I care,
World of war I find your games woefully unfair.
In this world of devastation,
I shall leave you one last revelation.
Your people will lose sight of what they most cherish,
now you, World, I shall leave to watch them perish.
No longer will they get to hear,
"Have a Happy New Year"
