I was given the colored blocks
Beautifully scripted
With rainbow letters
The eyes, whys, and L's
Stacked in their glory near the O's and V's, just on V
But oh, it occurs to me
A haunting reality
That without you
I'm just a silly little girl
With a pile of blocks, and a never-ending dream
