There's A Girl In My Mirror
There's a girl in my mirror crying tonight
And there's nothing i can say to make her feel alright
She has been beaten and bullied by kids that don't know what's right
But still she manage to smile when she's filled with fight
There's a girl in my mirror who picks up a knife
She was ready to take her own life
Blood flows down her arm like rain
She said that she was going though pain
But then i realized it was just a reflection
Of the child in me that suffered from rejection
It reflected not only the outer but the inner me
And all the scars we couldn't see
There's a girl in my mirror who wanted to change her life
So she decided to throw away the knife
The kids at school made fun of her still
But sometimes scars you can't see are the hardest to heal
I don't want to keep being the girl that keeps crying about the same things
I want to be the girl that was able to spread her wings
When something goes wrong i won't run to death
So if your waiting don't hold your breath

What want people to get out of my poem is that suicide or cutting is not the way to go there are millions of ways you can that out your pain. Don't be like me and end up cutting because that only lead to me having to take medicine and having to go to therapy. Well i hope that you enjoyed my poem and got the point of it.
