As I sit here I read,
So many questions,
I studied for this,
I will pass,
As I get through them I think to myself,
This is easy,
I got this,
I'm actually going to pass,
As I reach the last question I think back,
These are the answers I want to submit,
These are the words I chose,
The ones I'm sure will help me pass,
I hand in the paper and wait,
When the day comes,
I get my paper back,
I'm so excited because this time i'm sure I succeeded,
But I look at the score,
While all my hopes and dreams shatter,
I have failed again,
It may be passing,
But that's all I ever get on tests in this class,

D,
That one letter laughing in my face,
No matter how much I studied and tried to succeed,
I failed,
This is the only class I get this grade,
Just this class,
I feel like giving up and that no matter what,
I will fail again,
again and again.
