Favorite Quote:
If all else perished and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger.
-- Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights

Poetic thoughts of death
Soak through the claustrophobic embrace
Of morose thoughts
Filled with soft gloom
Too many endings
I am breathing water
And Swallowing Emotion
Afraid for him
His pain
What he goes through
And I don't know
If he is safe
While I wallow in pain
And want and want
And dream my little dreams
Of rejection and hopelessness
Wandering through the gloom of distance
Always between us

The author's comments:
I tried to articulate my thoughts about someone who is distant from me. Most of the time I have no idea what is happening to him.
