Trust Me
I learned to run to the ones who call my name
They are the ones that help me feel sane
I learned to love
but not to trust
because of a boy who broke me over hormonal lust
I learned to fight but not to cry
because that's weakness in their eyes
I learned to live by counting clouds
because they can't control my mind now
But I've learned that most of all
you just demolished my walls
And that four letter word that I hide from so much
Just flowed out of my mouth with an easy tongue.
"Trust"
