Darkness appears
consuming every bit of
hope and integrity.
Snatching my strength by chunks.
Leaving me weak and hopeless.
Left to drown in a puddle of should-of,could-of,would-ofs.
Should I fight to the finish or should I sink to the bottom?
But if I fight what would I be fighting for?
Truth be told I don't remember how I got here...
All I know is I saw a mysterious dark path and got dared to cross it.
I wonder if my friends are still waiting for me in awe
or have they left?
I guess curiosity does kill.
