I'm sitting in this chair
With an unfocused stare
An indifferent face
I'm not up for this chase
The taste of joy evades me
Because happiness is never free

I gasp, struggle for air

But my lungs don't seem to care
To give me the life I'm fighting for
And breathing isn't so easy anymore

With nothing to give me reason
And love is so out of season

When my heart is sore
Life can be such a bore
And fun is harder to do
When I'm not loving you

I found that moving on isn't so easy, and when that special person is no longer with you, your heart feels empty and incomplete for a while.
