Glass walls
I scream, I yell, I pound against the glass
My fingers are all bloody, my voice begins to crack
But you still keep me neatly in your pocket
 Carefully under wraps

I’ve tried to reason, I’ve tried to beg
But you can’t even hear the words that I say
I am your toy, for you to manipulate
To change and bend, mold and shape
A fate that I hope to escape
My world is so restricted, a glass house so clear you can see
The life that everyone else leads, everyone else, but me
 My walls are all enclosed
A glass box that I cannot escape from,
Where you won’t let me leave
