Mirror
Confusion and denial
 Soul lost in time
 Mirror shows no more
Then the image in her mind

 Lines have framed her eyes
Like the portrait on the wall
 That she forever worships
 Harsh-eyed god knows all

 Her body, aged and frail
 Reflection made of lies
The truth to never be unveiled
 She’ll hide beneath a guise

 Thinks she has succeeded
 She's hidden from the world
 The fragile face she sees
 Hides the wear and tear
Of a life so well lived
