The Betrayal
Your found out lies
Are like ice in my veins
Freezing my heart
And making tears fall
I thought that we were friends
Like sisters
Forever by each other's side
But what you really think of me
Hurts so bad
Like a knife straight through this already hurting heart of mine
Yeah I teased you like any friend does
But I still cared
I still would have done anything for you
I had your back through thick and thin
I would have walked any distance
Or would have been up at 3 in morning
If you needed me too
But of course
You lied to my face every day
Treated me like a friend
But all along
Behind my back
Were words of hatred
And annoyance
While I went on believing
All that you acted like was true
Now I sit here
I feel betrayed and my heart hurts
I wonder if you did this to hurt me
I wonder what you were using me for
Thanks for the memories
And the pain that you have left at my door
