Black Roses

Black roses create a labyrinth in my mind
The blessed way out I cannot find
Thorns of negativity pierce my soul
Inflicting pain on me as a whole
Depression overshadows my will
Leaving me with and unmistakable chill
Dark clouds cover my sky
Letting no glimpse of light get by
Within my mind a battle will rage
Forever playing out its tragedy on my stage
My aching heart will forever bleed
Until at last my soul is freed
When all this will end, I cannot say
But until that very day
This battle will rage on
All hope forever gone
Black roses fill my heart and soul
Sorrow taking an eternal toll

Thank you! I wrote this for one of my friends who was going through a really hard time and he compared himself to black roses..so i wrote this for him.
