Mrs. Perfect
You sit there,
Red lips smiling.
You think you won.
But the battle has just begun.
You curl your hair,
Thinking its perfect.
What you don’t know is,
Straight hair is in.
You flirt with the jocks,
With their jerseys.
Thinking they are perfect,
But nerds are nicer
You put on your makeup,
Not truly you.
Your cheeks pink,
Your black eyelashes batting.
You don’t realize,
Natural is better
No matter what,
Your clique says.
You are not
Mrs. Perfect
