With death upon it,
It sat.
Blackened
By the cold,
Covered
By a shroud
Of darkness.
Before it enters the void,
It releases
Its final gift.
Its last resource…
Beauty.
A dark, estranged one-
But still, beauty
Was the aura
That the creature left
Blazing
Around its blackened body.
