How Much I love You
Hot, salty tears glisten on my pale cheeks
Singing painful songs trying to teach me
But this cycle will never end,
No matter how much I hate how much I love you
To end it was just an instinct, my ancestrial feelings kicking in
A smile graces my face as i laugh at how stupid this all is
And I still hate how much I love you.
This pain is a gain,
An emotional growth, there as a callous
that will protect & harden until it's like a rock
But I still hate how much I love you.
I think of what could have, should have been
and how things would be different
I can't believe how much I hate how much I love you
This love, this hate
it's just another round of painful blows followed by laughter
And yet, I love how much I love you.
