His smile so bright even on his weakest days
His heart so warm with every word he said
His mind so outspoken with the things he meant
Memories he told of times being spent
Far or close, he didn’t care
When he heard my voice he knew I was there
By his side, holding on tight
I never wanted to say goodbye
When the time came, my eyes full of tears
He looks at me, “Don’t worry my dear”
