Abashed I Stood in Her MAG
Forgive me for cursing the moon
For hiding your face from the light
 For your eyes do shine
The way the light off the ocean may shine

Be it a sin to long for your love
I would bite that apple a thousand times over
Just for a glimpse of that compassion
It is a courageous heart that brings the smile
To your lips and that heart does more than love
 It forgives
As if to erase history and time
 I don't melt for thee
 I am frozen in place
In sheer awe that your gaze is upon me
Our eyes met and even seconds feel like eternity
 When that bond is broken
 Waves crash into civilizations

Beauty in chaos seeps from your being
I would care for that malice
Until the end of my days if it meant
 You would remember me

 Never has a muse invoked
So much conviction in me as you
Your rage and fire imprisoned by your kind lips
 Brown eyes
Never to escape the catacombs of your thought

 I would give my soul
 Just to cross your mind.
