I wrote our names on shore
Like an animal the ocean roared
As the tide came seeping in
I thought again of your sin
But that's the past
This pain won't last
I drew a heart in the sand
I put our initials in by hand
The waves crashed onto the beach
I felt it bite into my feet
I watched the letters fade away
And that is all there is to say
