Beauty
Myth within itself;
 A paradox of the earth
 To be represented by those who posses it;
 Those who understand
 What good it is to be themselves.

 And yet it’s there, this myth.
 Gift and curse and wonder in one.
 There to be seen, to be understood
 By those it graces with its touch.
 Those lucky few it graces with its touch.

 The rest are alone. Left to be themselves
 Without the wonder of its favor
 While it mocks them forevermore in those faces
 Lucky enough to receive its blessing.
 Those lucky few who receive its blessing.
