I stare at this blank page
Will it hold thoughts of joy
Or thoughts of rage
Maybe memoirs of me as a boy

Whatever will I decice to write
Of fear and foreboding
Of strength and mite
Or this world coroding

Will it contain death and sorrow
Maybe a letter to a friend
Or a better tomarrow
Or thhoughts of the end

Will it contain some beautiful art
Maybe a list for christmas
Oh where to start
But it will all start on this blank canvas
