The doll by the window sill
It stared into my eyes
 Its hand gracefully placed
 The dress neat and beautiful
 Its lips curved to perfection
Its delicate finger lapped on top of each other
Its blank eyes bore into mine
Its hair stew down its curled bounced wild

And then it struck me; it was lonely

 She was lonely, I knew
Her eyes now pleaded, whispering deep
Asking for help, begging for mercy
Screaming out loud, tears now brimming
She was lonely, she wanted a friend
She wanted me, she had missed me,
She sought me now had found me.
