The rush and torrents close in.
A safety net is thrown from above.
Waves crash and pound,
way over my head.
Still I don't reach out
or take hold.
"Please,"
I murmur.
"Please."
My choice.
My life.
My wrongdoing.
Always ignoring.
Wanting, but not grasping.
Never grasping.
As the torrents close in
I reach out a hand.

This isn't as kindred 2 me as the last one but I can feel a meaning in it.
