In Your Eyes

My thought race through my troubled mind,
My heart pounds louder than a steel drum,
My eyes flash images before me,
Brighter than the blazing sun,
As I ponder my thoughts,
Walking step by step,
The sound of my footsteps,
Couldn’t be more obvious,
As I look into your eyes,
I see the beauty of the world around me in your eyes,
And suddenly,
I feel at peace
