How many roads to the road of gold,
How many words I feel be left untold,
How do I sit back and act like I can't hear,
The cursing words that I fear,
I believe though I am pushed,
From road to road,
Year by year,
Day by day,
Week by week,
My beliefs are uncommon,
The minority people might say,
Yet I choose to believe,
I'm brave to not stray,
I know not everyone beliefs the cursing words,
I've heard few times in my life the words of gold spoken,
yet I try and try ,
but my heart continues to sing till this day,
How many roads to the road of gold,
How many words must not be told,
How do sit back and act like I can't hear,
The cursing words that I do not believe in and fear,

This poem symbolizes my struggle with finding a church and christian peers that accept homosexuality. There are some churches that except it now but still homosexuality is still disproved of in many churches and by many kids at my school.
