Summer
Summer
I hear it coming
I feel it in the air
With the wonderful rain storms
In place of the blizzards
The grass returns to sweet, soft green
Instead of the crunchy, brown yuck
Nature returns to life
Trees blooming; dropping the snow, bringing in the fresh, green leaves of summer
Summer
When we’re free
No school, no teachers, no homework
We can do as we please
Hanging out with friends
Sleeping in and staying out late
Maybe even go on a date
No expectations, just time to be yourself
Summer
Full of new experiences
New friendships
New opportunities
And a new adventure
It’s a mystery to be discovered...
In Summer
