Clanking Bracelets
You are like a bobble head that shakes around
Walking up and down the halls
Like you own the town
Your eyes open to the sky
While your head looks to the floor
You think you’re hot stuff
But no one cares anymore
Hair is chopped like vegetables on a chopping board
And it’s so discolored, it’s the color of a boar
You wear no foundation
But your eyeliner is always around
You dress yourself up and strut all around
Long, feather earrings are present near your hair
And your big, clanking bracelets that make everyone stare
You strive for attention, and that’s all you’re good for
But you have made your “mark” now go out the door
