hands of hope

hope is what people see
hope is what makes the sparkle of a star burn brighter than our hearts
hope is what fuels the energy of passion
hope is my weapon of choice in the battle of society
hope is my motivation to reach my goals
each day, life flashes before us
each day, hope is but the wind passing by
in this loss of innocence world
one day, we will all see that hope is more powerful
than violence, war, and guns
hope will not die in the hearts of others
instead, it will burn its biggest flame
and we will see the light and hope of a new day
