from clear to bright red;
my heart fills with dread
the pain in my head
leaves me for dead
a swing and a miss
my soul for a kiss
i give what is needed
the doubt has been seeded
the scars on my throat
in the words i have wrote
tastes like dark magic
and endings so tragic
waterfall killings
red eyes are filling
night-shadowed faces
staring, heart races
dream state slowness fades
dropping your charades
words come once more
as the tears hit the floor
