WHAT HAPPENS TO A DREAM
LEFT OVERWHELMING?
DOES IT HEAT UP IN PRESSURE?
OR DOES IT BAKE LIKE A BURGER?
UNTIL IT INCINERATES
WITH NO THOUGHTS LEFT BEHIND
IS IT CARRIED OUT AND REPLACED?
WILL IT EXPLODE LIKE FIREWORKS
ON THE FOURTH OF JULY?
SPARKING NEW DREAMS ALONG THE WAY
OR IS IT TO VANISH
INTO THIN AIR?
NEVER TO BE THOUGHT OF AGAIN
