Stuck On Pause

She is stuck on pause, but can't find the remote
She's lost her glasses, looking at the player
She can't tell play from stop, from fast forward, or rewind
So afraid she'll be left behind
Lost her glasses, she may as well be blind
Can't make up for all her lost time
Stuck on pause yet it feels like fast forward
Everything rushing passed, she can't keep up
Everything is a blur
Impatient for that halting stop
She is stuck on pause, where is the remote
