Bounded
Bounded in a state that I cannot escape
This rope burdens me to the ground with nowhere to go
I try to wiggle free but the tension is too strong
It restrains me from flight without me having done wrong
besides having been born as a mythical creature
I try to spread my glowing wings but not even that can be done
What must be done for me to be set free
From the pain that this trap is causing me
My hair the color of fresh embers swings viciously as I try to flee
I've never flapped so mightily and vigorously
I want to fly and show my ability
Let the world see what I am capable of
How I fly as majestically as a bird
The rays of the sunlight reflect off of my translucent wings
Dispersing colors that varies that of a rainbow
Skin that has a soft tan glow
Some may say I am the image of perfection
But I cannot escape these ropes that bound me for eternity
