My Sweet Flower
You have branded yourself in my soul
As if it were a veal
You claim me as your own
I am yours, but you are also mine
I planted our love,
A blooming bud
a rose of passion
Petals galore of
A Luscious sweetness
Until one day
The wind blows South
You step on my roots
Bury my soul
But you still
Are my bundle of flowers
Until I realized that you
May smell and look like a flower
But you were always
just a dandelion
A weed in disguise
As the days pass
You turn pale white
Hating the way things are
you let the wind
Spread you seeds to new heights
To new places
To new apartments
Leaving only the stem of what used to be
Left behind in a place
Where you called your own.
