Roses
The rose is a confusing thing.
It holds petals that invite the touch,
but clutches on to the sharpest of thorns.
It ranges in many colors,
Blue, yellow, purple, even green.
But red holds the favorite.
Rose red,
It's suppose to entice romance
Out of any human, man or woman
And yet its thorns stay sharped and
pointed,
slightly curved as if they try to grasp the taker,
latch on and not let go.
So roses are a very confusing thing,
It holds beauty from above,
but hides curled thorns underneath.
