A Glance
A look, a glance, A was all it took.
Their eyes, they met, they met from across the room.
The spark, it caught, it grew to a roaring flame.
Like magnets, they connected.
As opposites, they attract.
It was quick; it was subtle and much unexpected.
It caught even them by surprise.
The thoughts of each other filled their minds,
And blocked all other thoughts.
The hopes that it would last.
Their eyes, they met, they met from across the room.
A look, a glance, a glance was all it took.
