Favorite Quote:
"When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

-Sherlock Holmes (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)

A shoe
Dark brown
Scuffles along the pavement
The wearer dreams of blue skies
Rolling hills
Majestic mountains
That she cannot reach.
Her eyes turn upward and see the city lights
Surround her with their blurry-quick- liquid-monotony
Yet in her minds eye
She thinks of the place
The only place in all the world
That she can be
Free.

I liked this poem! It told a story, which I always like in poetry. :)
