The Mirror on the Wall
I look at myself until I am unhappy with the image
I smash the mirror into pieces and laugh at the irony
Every broken piece is a broken part of me
YOUR NOT WHO YOU USED TO BE
I scream without any words
I grab the basic foundation that has become my life
I hurriedly and slopply apply it
I grab the fake smile and make sure to cake it on
By the time my mask is on I'm crying out
I HATE YOU
Why do I need fake beauty for u to see WHO I AM
And that's when I give up
My love angel sits down beside me with a wet cloth
He smiles gently and ever so dear
Because he sees the girl I am without the mirror
