Like soldiers we stand
Silence succeeds cold and mean
Hope flows like a stream
Alone with my body
Am I scared
Hardly
Aqua water sits in front
Shining slippery still
Waiting to be shattered
Lucid dreams trapped
Waiting to be sought after
Goose bumps cover
I fight the urge to shudder
Three words interrupt
Take your mark
A quick short buzzer
Its time to start
