Guilty conscience

I saw a little girl sit down,
no companion by her side.
I saw a boy get pummeled down
nobody helped him out.
I saw an egg fall from it's nest
with no one to pick it up.
I saw a man get shot,
with a bullet through his head.
I saw a girl give birth
to a girl who's now my age.
Why weren't you there to help?
Why did you not care?
Why am i blaming you
When i was the one there?
